Not only that, PT Tera Data Indonusa, as the owner of the Axioo laptop brand, inaugurated the first Intelligent Desktop Virtualization (IDV) computer laboratory class in Indonesia. This lab is the result of collaboration with PT Indo Mega Vision.
This first IDV laboratory class was present at Pertiwi Vocational School, Kuningan, West Java with the support of Intel Corporation and a number of other companies.
Apart from supporting computer learning, this laboratory is also to support the government’s efforts to eradicate technological illiteracy in Indonesia.
Vice President for Business Development & Strategic Partnership PT Tera Data Indonusa, Timmy Theopelus, said that one of the reasons why the technology illiteracy rate in Indonesia is high is the limited computer ownership compared to other countries.
This cannot be separated from limited budgets and high electricity bills which are a scourge for many schools in Indonesia, especially in underdeveloped areas.
Therefore, technological illiteracy is one of the main challenges that must be resolved immediately to achieve Indonesia’s golden generation in 2045.
The presence of the IDV laboratory at Pertiwi Kuningan Vocational School aims to help provide a solution for schools that have limited funds and electricity to be able to have a computer laboratory with adequate specifications but still save power.
