The Pension for the Well-being of older adults is one of the Well-being Programs that seeks to improve the social protection situation of the entire adult population aged 65 or over. through an economic pension, currently equivalent to 6 thousand pesos every two months, delivered directly.
This support is elevated to constitutional rank; That is, the Mexican State has the obligation to comply with the delivery of this economic support regardless of the government or rulers in power.
In 2025 there will be an increase for this pension, After the last bimonthly payment of the year is made next November, which also corresponds to December, this is the period November-December 2024.

The increase next year, according to President Claudia Sheinbaum, must exceed inflation levels.
Although so far, the authorities have not reported how much the increase in the Welfare Pension will be, each year has had annual increases of 25 percent.
