The trial of Gérard Depardieu, which officially began this Monday, lasted only a few hours before an interruption. The trial for acts of sexual assault allegedly committed by the actor is in fact postponed to March 24 and 25, 2025.
The actor, who denies the facts, did not attend the trial on Monday, citing poor health. His lawyer Jérémie Assous immediately requested a six-month postponement from the court so that Gérard Depardieu could defend himself.
The actor is accused of several accusations of sexual assault from different women.
