Rumor gave Vinicius Jr. the big winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or, but in an unexpected turnaround on Monday, it was Rodri who was voted best footballer in the world this year.
Winner of Euro 2024 and best player in the competition with Spain last summer, the Manchester City midfielder, who also won the Premier League, was favored by the jury. As for the winner of the Women’s Ballon d’Or, it is Aitana Bonmati, who won everything with Barça Women. She retains her crown as the best player in the world.
