Lines 4 and 5 of the Light Rail, among the mobility projects

They guarantee drinking water for the next 35 years

Gerardo Quirino Velázquez highlighted the joint investment of eight billion pesos in recent years for the expansion of treatment plants and water purifiers and that allowed the construction of plant number 5 that will allow water to be brought from Lake Chapala to the municipalityreducing the amount of water extracted from wells, the supply system used by the city for years.
“We are about to conclude with the water treatment plant number 5 and that will allow us to finally bring surface water from Chapala and take it to the areas that we need most such as Carretera a Chapala and the Valles area. With all these works, we will reach the investment of 120 million pesos in the first days, we have already spent 100 and 20 more with the macrotank.”
