This afternoon around 20 thousand people gathered on the Expiatory esplanadelocated on Enrique Díaz de León Avenue, to march to the Guadalajara Cathedral against abortionthis within the framework of the walk along the 4th. National celebration in favor of life, of the civil association Unidos por México.
Around 5:00 p.m., the protesters began to gather near the Expiatorio to begin the march towards the Central Zone of Guadalajara.
“This is a celebratory walk. We seek to promote the culture of life in our children, in our young people. Give a message of hope, that young people, as mentioned in the manifesto, want to start a family, want to have children, because we have to have hope that there is a future,” said Elena González Morales, president of the National Front for the Family Jalisco chapter.

With banners that read “In favor of women and life”, “To say ‘not one less’, stop killing your daughters in their wombs”, “Yes to life”, among other messages, families and Religious groups began to walk along Enrique Díaz de León to Juárez Avenue and later along 16 de Septiembre Street.
“We seek to defend life because, in the group to which we belong, we believe that life is the most important thing that God has given usthen our job is to announce and defend and we are supporting life. “And the life of both the baby and the mother who brings it,” commented Brenda, member of the Diocesan Movement of Encounters with Christ for ladies.from the Santa María Guadalupe García Zavala Parish.
González Morales added that they ask the authorities and legislators to respect life and listen to citizens who demonstrate against abortion, since there are still many people who ask that the right to life be respected.
“That they promote public policies that truly help women. That laws be passed that help women, such as the Maternity Protection law that we have presented and is frozen (…). We would ask citizens to have hope, to respect life, that life is important from the moment of conception until natural death,” he said.
Meanwhile, according to preliminary information, at least six pro-life protesters were run over by a van in front of the Guadalajara Cathedralwhen they were praying and making requests in favor of the right to life.
