It’s an unexpected but definitely winning combo. On paper, at least. Naruto, an intergenerational manga phenomenon, will leave its boxes read from right to left to settle into that of Spirou, an emblematic figure of Franco-Belgian comics. The announcement was made on Friday October 25 by the director of Parc Spirou, Hervé Lux, during the premiere of the Naruto Shippuden Symphonie Experience film concert, at the Paris dome.
Opening planned for 2026
Scheduled for 2026, this new area of approximately 1.5 hectares will be entirely dedicated to the Konoha ninja. It should house a reconstruction – which we are promised is faithful and produced in collaboration with Japanese artists – of the village defended body and soul by the host of the nine-tailed fox and his friends.
According to Sortir à Paris, this unusual colocation between Spirou and the Japanese hero, aims first of all to rejuvenate the public of the park located in Monteux, in Vaucluse, by drawing from the immense pool of animation lovers and readers of manga. An S-rank mission for which Naruto seems to tick all the boxes.
