Taking into account the increase in the cost of living, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) has confirmed that during the month of November, pensioners and retirees will receive, in their next payment, a part of their bonus, however only those who meet certain requirements will receive an extra increase.
With the objective of maintaining the purchasing power of those who work in Mexico, and as established by the Federal Labor Law, Every active worker or retiree/pensioner receives their bonus payment annually, for active workers being a total of 15 days of salary for the year worked, while for retirees and pensioners, a monthly payment equivalent to their pension.

As for the total figure, this is adjusted each year by the National Consumer Price Index (INPC)and furthermore, it is important to highlight that in the country we have two different regimes and only those that belong to the pension regime for unemployment at advanced age or old age under the Social Security Act of 1973 (Law of 73), they will receive the increase in the payment of this benefit, while those governed by the current Law will not do so.
The adjustment in the payment of this bonus will be made automatically, so none of the beneficiaries will have to do any paperwork or clarification, which will allow each of the pensioners to receive their money in a timely manner.
Based on the IMSS pension calendar, this next payment is scheduled for next Friday, November 1, while the second part and last pension payment is scheduled for November 29.
