President Claudia Sheinbaum met this afternoon at the National Palace with the businessman Carlos Slimwho envisioned a Mexican economy with “a lot of potential” and “a lot of strength for when we start doing things with the United States.”
Slim, was accompanied by the president of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), Francisco Cervantes Díaz, who He pointed out that in the meeting with the president the issue of investments was discussed, between public and private initiatives.
In that sense, Slim indicated that there are many investment projects in this administration
“Mr. Slim, how do you see the economy?” he was asked.
“Good, good, very interesting, with a lot of potential and a lot of strength for when we start doing things with the United States that are increasingly important”replied the engineer.
“Are you going to participate in the train projects?” Carlos Slim was asked.
“We still don’t know how it comes and such, but there is a lot of private investment coming“, said.
Slim and Cervantes predicted “many good years” for Mexico in economic matters.
