At 3:00 p.m., the phenomenon was 440 kilometers southwest of Acapulco and 490 kilometers south of Lázaro Cárdenas, moving west at 28 km/h.

Due to its wide circulation, The cyclone is expected to generate intense rains in Colima, Guerrero, Jalisco and Michoacán, as well as showers in Nayarit.
