Elements of the Army detained five men in the town of Guamuchilera, municipality of Culiacán, Sinaloa, among them Luis Alberto “N”, alleged cell leader of the “Pacific Cartel” and generator of violence in the entity.
Five high-powered firearms were seized from the detained men, 11 magazines, 524 cartridges, two grenades, tactical equipment and two vehicles.

The detainees and what was seized were placed at the disposal of the competent authorities, to determine their legal situation, continue with investigations, as well as expert actions.
The Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) reiterated the unwavering decision of the federal government for inhibiting the activities of organized crime.
