As a politician, Meutya Hafid plays an important role in increasing women’s representation in parliament and fighting for gender issues.
She has become one of the main voices in advocating for women’s and children’s rights, and supports a greater role for women in various sectors, including politics.
Meutya studied primary and secondary education in Jakarta, then continued high school at Crescent Girl’s School, Singapore, graduating in 1997.
He then continued his studies at the University of New South Wales, Australia, and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2001. Then, in 2018, he completed his master’s degree at the University of Indonesia.
