When do the 2024 December holidays begin and end, according to the SEP?
According to the SEP 2024-2025 school calendar, all preschool, primary and secondary institutions The winter holidays must begin next Thursday, December 19, and end on Friday, January 3, 2025.
During these vacation days the following December festivities will be covered:
- Christmas Eve: Tuesday December 24
- Christmas: Wednesday, December 25
- New Year: Wednesday, January 1, 2025
- End of vacation: Friday, January 3, 2025
- Three Kings Day: Monday January 6
- Intensive workshop for personnel with management functions: Monday, January 6, 2025
- Intensive workshop for teaching staff: Tuesday, January 7 and Wednesday, January 8, 2025
Due to the above, the students will have about a month of vacation, and with the holding of intensive workshops, it means a possible extension of the winter vacation period.
