Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Kaspersky has just released a new report revealing that one in three industrial companies face network or connection problems periodically.
As many as 45 percent of companies report experiencing network problems several times a month, while only 12 percent say these challenges occur once a year or less.
This figure shows how serious the challenges faced by companies have infrastructure spread across various locations.
The Real Impact of Network Problems on Productivity and Reputation
When a network goes down, it impacts not only internal communications, but also overall company productivity. Employees lose access to important data, projects are delayed, and productivity suffers.
Besides that, downtime networks also cause significant financial losses, with costs that can reach thousands of dollars per minute.
“Network problems often result in reduced production levels and reputation risks,” said Maxim Kaminsky, Business Development Manager at Kaspersky in his statement, Thursday (17/10/2024).
He said, “companies must be ready to face these challenges and address network issues quickly to maintain business continuity.”
Kaspersky Solutions for Resolving Network Disruptions
To help industrial companies deal with this problem, Kaspersky recommends using technology solutions such as Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity (KICS) to centrally monitor and protect network infrastructure.
Additionally, Kaspersky SD-WAN can help manage widespread networks more efficiently, ensuring reliable connections and optimal protection.
