The Mexican currency in international markets opens this Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 19.90 pesos per dollar, which means a depreciation of 1.08% or 21 cents compared to the previous day, according to information from Bloomberg.
According to the portal, in the overnight session, the exchange rate showed volatility with an upward bias.
This Wednesday, the peso continues with the depreciation episode of the previous session, after considering various factors that removed its attractiveness as an emerging currency.

The exchange rate breaks a bearish triangle and points to a possible rebound towards mid-September levels, Monex specialists commented.
