The (highly anticipated) entry of Laëtitia Milot
The legendary duo, composed of chef Cyril Lignac and culinary blogger Mercotte, will become a trio with actress Laëtitia Milot. Known to the general public for her role as Mélanie Rinato in the hit series “Plus belle la vie”, and currently on tour with the play A farewell dinnerthe 44-year-old actress is preparing to become a TV host.
“I’m passionate about cooking in general, and if I don’t watch much television, ”Le Meilleur Pâtissier” is one of the programs, like ”Top Chef,” that I follow with pleasure,” she confided to 7 Days TV. She will succeed Faustine Bollaert, Julia Vignali and Marie Portolano.
A new castle served on a platter
After two consecutive seasons welcoming the candidates for “Best Pastry Chef” on M6, the Château de Neuville, a 16th century building located in Gambais (Yvelines), is closing its doors for work. From then on, the program will take up residence in Val-de-Marne. Season 13 of M6’s flagship program will therefore take place at the Château d’Ormesson, built in the 16th century, located in the town of Ormesson-sur-Marne. It’s not the mythical castle of “Star’Ac” on TF1, but it looks like it…
“We are not that far from Paris and we have rarely had such a beautiful castle,” Jérémie Atlan, director of entertainment at BBC Studios France, told Leisure TV. If we can, we would like to keep it for next year. » Thus, “Le Meilleur Pâtissier” holds new tables of choice in the 9-4.
A surprise that does not “detract” from the program
A quick glance at the menu of events, for those who have never visited the Six show. This year, the creative test will launch the program every week. The fourteen candidates in the running will have to show imagination to propose creations worthy of the name to Laëtitia Milot, Cyril Lignac and Mercotte.
The technical test will be under the control of great pastry chefs, such as Pierre Hermé, Nina Métayer, Titouan Claudet and Kevin Ollivier. They will reveal some of their cooking secrets, which the apprentice pastry chefs will try to reproduce to perfection.
Finally, the surprise test will be the icing on the cake! Duels, sweet sculptures, unexpected pairs… The pressure will be maximum and the M6 audience will be kept in suspense. The winner of this surprise event will lift the “Golden Cupcake”, a precious ticket for the following week. This season 13 has all the ingredients to be the crème de la crème of TV programs this end of year.
