Apple Opens Registration for Swift Student Challenge 2025, How to Participate?

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Apple is again inviting students from all countries, including Indonesia, to take part in the Swift Student Challenge 2025.

The Swift Student Challenge 2025 is Apple’s annual event, where the technology giant opens up great opportunities for the younger generation to show their coding skills.

Using a programming language developed by Apple, participants are challenged to create innovative applications ready to inspire and change the world.

Registration for this Swift challenge will open in February 2025, for three weeks. Students, educators, and their mentors can immediately prepare to sign up for notifications at developer.apple.com.

Later, Apple will give awards to a total of 350 Swift Student Challenge winners deemed superior in terms of innovation, creativity, social impact or inclusivity.

Of these, 50 Featured Winners will receive additional awards as well as the rare opportunity to visit Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino next summer.

“At Apple, we are committed to supporting and nurturing the next generation of coders,” said Susan Prescott, Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, in a statement, Thursday (10/10/2024).

“Each year, we are truly impressed by the ingenuity of the applications the students create, and we are excited to see what the next round of the challenge will bring,” he said.

To help participants prepare, the company also launched updates to Swift Coding Club, offering interactive resources and activities.
