“Health house by house” is a new social program that was presented this Monday by the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
This program is focused on older adults and people with disabilities.
The head of the Welfare Secretariat, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, gave details of this program, which has the objective of guaranteeing the right to health to these sectors of the population.
For this program, a house-to-house health and well-being census will be carried out. “We will go to visit all the older adults who today have the right to their welfare pension, that is, from 65 years of age and older.” and all beneficiaries of the pension for people with disabilities,” explained Montiel Reyes.

In order to carry out this coverage, The Government of Mexico will hire 20 thousand doctors, male and female nurses to provide house-to-house care on a regular basis.
If you are a health personnel and are interested in one of the vacancies, The process to make the hiring request will take place from October 21 to November 15.
The requirements that interested parties must meet are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing or other health areas
- Valid official identification
- CURP
- Proof of maximum level of studies
- Curriculum vitae
The documents must be delivered in modules to be installed, whose location can be consulted on the page of the Secretary of Welfare.
