The one who ousted April, Coline and Louis, the three other finalists, is 13 years old and lives in Bois-Colombes, in the Paris region. And if his voice has moved many listeners, you should know that this pre-teen only started singing three years ago, reports TF1Info. Which did not prevent Lara Fabian from detecting in him an “old soul” of a performer.
Trained “at a good school”
It must be said that the young man had to very quickly integrate the “mechanics” of singing since he is part of the famous choir of “Petits chanters d’Asnières et les Poppys”. It was also following a gala of this training that Tim was “spotted by a coach who worked in the industry”, specifies Planet.fr.
The young artist, who admits “to being hypersensitive and crying quickly and easily”, does not know his father. He thus explained, after his duet with Patrick Bruel, that the song Who has the right meant a lot to him: “it’s a bit of my story, because I don’t know my dad and it touches me to sing it, it’s a lot of emotions,” reports La Dépêche.
He dreams of international duets
Finally, if his future as a singer seems assured, Tim already cherishes certain dreams: “I want to continue in music, to flourish a little with the choir (…) I would like to join a private school with the schedules designed to alternate between my studies and artistic projects,” he confided to Planet.fr, adding that he would love to collaborate with Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Slimane and… Lara Fabian!

The final of The Voice Kids was a hit, according to Médiamétrie, which specifies that the TF1 telecrochet achieved the third best audience on Saturday evening (behind Murder in Arboison France 3 with 4,671,000 viewers and 100% logicalon France 2, with 2,952,000 viewers) bringing together 2,695,000 viewers.
