What couple has never dreamed of impressing the gallery at their opening ball? A couple from Pas-de-Calais succeeded at the beginning of September. For their very official first dance, they embraced to a Coldplay song… which hadn’t been released yet!
The famous group has in fact sent them, as a world exclusive, its studio version of “All my Love”, reports the American media People. The title was played in June during the tour and was not due to be released until early October. “This song became our anthem as we faced many challenges in our lives, such as Céline’s battle with Crohn’s disease, or the death of my father. The lyrics echo the hardships we have endured, but also the power of love between us, making this song important to us,” Paul explained.
With Céline, they first attracted the group’s attention at a concert with a sign inviting the artists to their wedding. On stage, Chris Martin apparently answered “maybe”. Then nothing more. The future spouses then questioned Phil Harvey, the group’s manager, on X. “We’re getting married in 2 days, please Phil, do your magic and let us dance to All my love,” they wrote. Response from the interested party? “Congratulations Paul. Let me see what I can do. »
And he kept his word by sending, the day before the ceremony, the famous title. “We cried several times when we heard it,” the groom explained to BFM TV. And on D-Day, it really took on a different dimension. We, like the guests, I think we didn’t really realize how lucky we were. Exclusive music from a global group that we’ve been following for years, I think it was magical and there’s nothing more beautiful as a gift on a wedding day, we can’t hope for better. »
Yes, perhaps a message of congratulations from Chris Martin and his family… which came. “Congratulations Céline and Paul. We wish you a life filled with love, laughter and joy,” the members of the group wrote on X while reposting the video of the opening ball.
