The European Union condemned this Tuesday “with the greatest firmness”, Iran’s ballistic missile attacks against Israelwhich constitute “a serious threat” to regional security.
“The successive waves of attacks and reprisals, have fueled a spiral of uncontrollable conflict“said Peter Stano, spokesman for the European External Action Service (EEAS), headed by the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell.
The EU, Stano added, “remains fully committed to contributing to reducing tensions and avoid a dangerous regional war“.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard confirmed this Tuesday the launch of missiles against Israel, in response to the assassinations of the Hamas leaderIsmail Haniyeh, the head of Hezbollah, Hasan Nasrallah, and an Iranian general.
This is Iran’s first attack against Israel since April, when it attacked two Israeli air bases with missiles and drones, in response to the death of seven members of the Revolutionary Guard at the Iranian consulate in Damascus, in an attack that did not cause heavy damage.
In turn, the president of the United States, Joe Biden, ordered the US Armed Forces this Tuesday to shoot down the missiles that Iran is launching on Israel.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari warned of possible repercussions following Iran’s recent attack. The military indicated that the missile launch will be responded to, although he did not specify how that response will be carried out.
