Liputan6.com, Lombok NeutraDC, an ecosystem provider company data center as well as a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) held training entitled “Utilizing AI Technology for MSMEs Towards Go Global” Bale360, Mandalika, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, on Monday (1/10/2024).
The training held after the Mandalika MotoGP international event aims to empower local entrepreneurs to be able to compete in the global market, especially for local entrepreneurs in Mandalika or Lombok which have potential as areas where international events are often held.
NeutraDC CEO Andreuw Th.AF said that this step was taken after observing that Lombok is a favorite tourist destination which often hosts international events such as MotoGP. For this reason, the more than 100 thousand local entrepreneurs in Lombok need to continue to improve their skills so they can compete on the global stage.
“Mandalika has an international circuit that invites many people event global. “This is a great opportunity for MSMEs to utilize technology to adapt their business to the demands of the international market,” said Andreuw, conveyed separately.
VP Corporate Communication Telkom, Andri Herawan Sasoko said that this training is a form of the company’s dedication in sharing the latest information about technology that can be utilized by local business people, especially in facing opportunities from the international arena.
“We see that products from MSMEs in Lombok are quite competitive. We hope that this training can help MSMEs more easily understand how to promote their products, so they can reach a wider market,” said Andri.
MSME participants who attended came from various regions in Lombok, with local specialty products such as Lombok batik, handicrafts, accessories, and typical Lombok food. This training presents expert speakers who provide insight into communication strategies and how to utilize AI technology to make it easier for MSMEs to expand their business reach, through the topic “AI Technology to Encourage Digital MSME Growth.”
