In an official statement received on Sunday (22/9/2024), this feature makes it easier for users to find and follow various WhatsApp channels that suit their interests.
With this WhatsApp Channel Category, users can explore various topics, from the latest news and information to entertainment and lifestyle.
Meta’s chat application has grouped these channels into seven main categories, namely people, organizations, lifestyle, sports, entertainment, businesses, and news & information.
“500 million people around the world already use Channels every month and enjoy information from various channels,” WhatsApp wrote in a statement.
Some of these channels include Ganta, BAALE, Marc Klok Foundation, Makanteruss, Free Fire Community ID Official, Indonesian National Team, and Persib, and various other channels.
