In the latest WhatsApp beta update for Android (version 2.24.20.20) on the Play Store, there is a new feature that allows you to add filters and effects directly from the camera.
As reported by WABetaInfo, there is a new filter button in the camera interface, so you can beautify photos and videos with just one touch.
Previously, this AR effect was only available on video calls, but now WhatsApp is expanding this feature to photos and videos. That way, you have more creative options to beautify your shots or recordings.
