- Open the iMessages app on iPhone.
- Enter to chat or the conversation you choose.
- Tap on the text field to start writing a message.
- Tap the A icon with lines on the left, which is located above the letter P in keyboard.
- Then, the text effects menu will appear.
At the top of the menu, you can see text format options such as bold, italic, underline, and strike-through. Meanwhile, below it, you will find eight text effects.
