Paramount Network airs today Ocean’s Eleven (2001) from. With eleven men they try to commit a huge robbery. It soon becomes apparent that there is more at stake for Danny than just money: his ex-wife Tess (Julia Roberts) is the new girlfriend of Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia), the owner of the casinos he wants to rob.
Ryan Reynolds stars on Tuesday Free Guy (2021). Guy (Ryan Reynolds) is a bank employee who follows the same routine every day, and he’s okay with it. But on a day when everything is going as usual, he encounters a woman who impresses him so much that he breaks his usual routine. He manages to get a pair of sunglasses that allow him to see the game like the real players and starts his own mission. The film can also be seen on Disney+ and via Pathé Thuis.
It’s Wednesday Fog in August (2016) broadcast. 13-year-old half-orphan Ernst Lossa is placed in a psychiatric hospital and soon senses that something is not quite right here. He discovers that the Nazis are working on a bizarre euthanasia program here. He is aware of what is happening, becomes attached to friends, and then tries to sabotage the program.
Thursday you look at The Holiday (2006). Iris (Kate Winslet) is in love with a man who is about to marry another woman. On the other side of the world, Amanda (Cameron Diaz) realizes that the man she lives with has been unfaithful. Two women who have never met and live far apart find themselves in the same situation. They meet online on a home exchange website and impulsively switch homes for the holidays. Iris moves into Amanda’s house in sunny California when Amanda arrives in the snowy English countryside. Shortly after arriving at their destination, both women find the last thing they wanted or expected: a new romance.

Friday is James Bond movie Casino Royale (2006). James Bond (Daniel Craig) goes on his first mission as 00. Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) is a banker for the world’s terrorists and takes part in a poker game in Montenegro, where he must win back his money to stay safe under the terrorist market. MI6 boss “M” (Dame Judi Dench) sends Bond along with Vesper Lynd Eva Green) to attend this game and prevent Le Chiffre from winning.
Saturday is celebrated with Children of Men (2006). The youngest person in the world has just died at the age of eighteen and humanity is facing the possibility of its own extinction. When a lonely pregnant woman is discovered, activist Theo Faron (Clive Owen) embarks on a desperate journey with his ex-wife Julian (Julianne Moore) to get her to safety and save humanity. The science fiction film by director Alfonso Cuarón was nominated for three Oscars in 2007, but unfortunately did not win any.
The week ends with Heavy rain (2012). James Bond’s loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 is attacked, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
