Singer Taylor Swift has been named Person of the Year by Time Magazine. She leaves behind, among others, Russian President Vladimir Putin and British King Charles in the election of the American magazine.
The 33-year-old singer re-released her albums this year, went on a world tour and turned her performances into the film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
In 2017, Swift was also on the cover of Time Magazine. She was named Person of the Year together with actress Ashley Judd, writer Susan Fowler, lobbyist Adama Iwu and strawberry picker Isabel Pascual.
The women were honored because they had spoken out against sexual abuse that they and others had experienced.
