It’s been a sensational year for star actor Jamie Foxx. After his recovery from a (still unclear) medical complication and a moment of fuss after an allegedly anti-Semitic Instagram post, Foxx came under fire again this week because charges were filed against him.
The woman who sued Foxx claims the actor sexually assaulted her at a rooftop bar in New York in 2015. The lawsuit not only holds Foxx responsible, but also the restaurant staff, who are said to have known of ‘Foxx’s aggressive behavior towards women’.
A spokesperson for the actor has now responded to the complaint on behalf of Foxx:
This alleged incident never happened. (…) We are confident that an early acquittal will follow. Once that happens, Mr. Foxx himself will file a claim against the plaintiff and her lawyers

The spokesperson states that the woman who filed the complaint had already tried to find Foxx guilty of the same offense in 2020. The actor was cleared of all accusations at the time, and the spokesperson believes that will be the case again. Because this is the second time that Foxx has been sued by this woman, he is determined to take legal action against her this time.
