Adrián Rubalcava, mayor of Cuajimalpa, demanded that the Frente Amplio por México not disqualify any candidate in the race for Mexico City (CDMX). This is due to rumors that the National Action Party (PAN) would seek to elect Santiago Taboada, mayor of Benito Juárez, as a candidate.
