Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer responded on Wednesday to the death of their Friends colleague Matthew Perry. A day earlier, Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox already made themselves heard.
“We all experience loss at some point in our lives. The loss of a life or love,” 54-year-old Aniston wrote with a photo of herself with Perry on Instagram. “We loved him so much. He was part of our DNA. There were always six of us.”
She also praises Perry’s humor. “He loved to make people laugh. And he was successful at that, because we laughed so much. Matty, I love you so much. Rest in peace, little brother.”
Schwimmer thanks Perry for “ten incredible years of laughter and creativity.” The 57-year-old actor posts a photo of his character Ross with Perry’s character Chandler on Instagram. “This photo is of one of my favorite moments with you. Now it makes me laugh and mourn at the same time.”
Perry died late last month at the age of 54. He played the role of Chandler Bing on Friends for ten seasons.
