Wozkniak is one of the minds behind the American company that pioneered the sale of personal computers. Among his first contributions to the company is the design of the Apple II model, considered the first mass-market computer.
The engineer met Steve Jobs through Bill Fernández, a friend he made while studying Electrical Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley.

In 1976 Jobs proposed to Wozkniak to create a computer company and thus Apple emerged, with the resources that the entrepreneurs managed to gather by selling a truck and a programmable calculator.

While Jobs took charge of marketing and sales, Wozniak set about building the Apple I computer. Although he had left Berkeley, he learned how to build cheap laptops at the Homebrew Computer Club, which included people from Silicon Valley.
This first model did not have a power supply, casing, screen or keyboard, yet they managed to sell 200 units, part of them purchased by an electronics store. For the Apple II, Wozkniak integrated a keyboard and support for a color monitor.
Stephen Wozniak, better known as Steve, was born on August 11, 1950 in San Jose, California and showed an interest in technology since childhood, decades before founding Apple.
His father Francis Jacob Wozniak, a Polish-Ukrainian, at Lockheed Corporation in Sunnyvale, known today as Silicon Valley. The Historical Telecommunications Forum reports that he gave Steve a galena watch when he was only 7 years old and that since then he showed an interest in technological devices.

At the age of 11 he managed to make a radio and at 14 a machine that added and subtracted binary numbers, for which he won a prize.
When it was time to advance to higher education, Wozniak tried to study at the Pasadena Institute of Technology, but was rejected, so he went through two schools before entering the University of California, where he also left his studies unfinished.
For his outstanding work as an engineer, he was included in the Inventors Hall of Fame and received the Heinz Award for Technology, Economics and Employment for having designed the first personal computer.
On the afternoon of this November 6, TMZ reported on the hospitalization of Wozniak, who traveled to Mexico City to give a conference at the World Business Forum Mexico 2023 (WOBI), which is taking place at Expo Santa Fe.
According to the American media, the Apple co-founder told his wife, Janet Hill, that he was “feeling strange.” Although he assured that he felt well to participate in the event, Ella insisted that it was necessary to go to a hospital, because she had worrying symptoms such as vertigo.
It turned out that the businessman is at the ABC Hospital and that his team of doctors is on the way to Mexico, to intervene if they consider it necessary. However, it is unknown if Wozniak will be transferred to the United States to continue his treatment in that country.
So far WOBI has not issued a position regarding the conference in which Wozniak would participate.
