This Saturday, Nacional sealed a 3-0 win on their visit to River Plate, on date 8 of the Uruguay tournament – Clausura 2023 Tournament. The goals for the visitor were scored by Juan Ignacio Ramírez (22′ 1T), Daniel Bocanegra (3′ 2T) and Gonzalo Carneiro (21′ 2T).
Daniel Bocanegra had a great performance. The Nacional defender was important by scoring 1 goal.

On the next day, River Plate will face Danubio as a visitor, while Nacional will play as a visitor against Peñarol. For Nacional it will be a special event because it will meet its eternal rival again in a new edition of the Superclásico.
In this way, the local team is in eleventh place in the championship with 9 points, while the visiting team, with 12, is in fifth place.
