According to Peter Gillis’ lawyer, Nicol Kremers was not forced to sign a settlement agreement. Gillis is responding to the report filed by his ex-girlfriend.
“The agreement also contains matters that Mrs. Kremers herself wanted to have included, such as a car that she wanted. That certainly does not sound like a coercive agreement, on the contrary,” lawyer Danny Snijders said.
The atmosphere before, during and after signing the agreement would also be good. According to the lawyer, this would “not give rise to the slightest suspicion of any coercion”.
Gillis claimed at the end of September that Kremers owes him 1.7 million euros because she had not adhered to the settlement agreement. For example, she spoke about the relationship in public even though this would not have been allowed under the agreement.
The preliminary relief judge decided last Friday that Gillis had not sufficiently substantiated his claim for millions, but he was allowed to seize Kremers’ private accounts, among other things, for 104,000 euros via a bailiff.
According to the Massa Kassa star’s ex-girlfriend, she signed the agreement under duress. For that reason the document would be invalid.
Gillis and his lawyer are still thinking about possible next steps after this “little intelligent action by Mrs Kremers”, according to the lawyer. “In any case, things won’t get any better for Mrs. Kremers.”
