The Local Police of Vigo arrested an alleged 29-year-old abuser who pretended to kiss his victim, whom he was actually strangling, as reported by La Voz de Galicia. The man stopped squeezing the woman’s neck and pretended to kiss her when he saw a 092 patrol arrive. The events occurred near the municipality’s Plaza de Portugal last Saturday at six in the morning.
Witnesses in the area alerted the police after seeing the alleged attacker struggling and hitting a woman. When the patrol arrived and searched the area, they only saw a couple kissing, although their characteristics matched the description provided by those who raised the alarm, so they decided to approach.
