Costa Verde: Large forest fire reported in Barranco

In the early hours of Tuesday, October 3, a large fire was reported at 12:15 am on the Costa Verde. Both National Police personnel and Barranco Firefighters have arrived at the scene to mitigate the fire.

Vehicle traffic has been blocked, and the local Municipality’s water tankers have also been deployed to help contain the fire on the vacant land reported so far.

According to users on social networks, the fire would be at the height of Playa Sombrillas (Barranco) Costa Verde. At least seven fire units are on the scene and announce that the road is closed in both directions.
