The search for the aggressor extended to some areas of San Luis (Télam)
In an attempted femicide, a man shot his ex-partner and injured two of the woman’s children with a knife in Traslasierra, Córdoba. Fortunately, they are out of danger. Meanwhile, Justice is looking for the aggressor.

The attack occurred in Las Toscas on Wednesday morning, when the man, identified as Francisco Gabriel López, 42, arrived around 7:30 a.m. at his ex-partner’s house.
The two began to argue and, suddenly, López pulled out his firearm and shot the woman, who was wounded in her right leg. Then, he hit an 11-year-old girl in the head with his butt and cut the victim’s two other children, ages 21 and 16, with a knife, according to information from local media ElDoce. While the first suffered a cut wound to the head and shoulder, the second was injured in the abdomen.

Consequently, all of them were transferred to the Villa Dolores Hospital to be treated, where they remain hospitalized but out of danger. The woman suffered a fractured femur, while the teenager underwent surgery.
After the attack, the attacker fled, so prosecutor Lucrecia Zambrana issued an arrest warrant against the suspect. Although the man resides in Villa Dolores, the search extended to the entire Traslasierra valley and some areas of San Luis.

According to the description released, it is a man who is 1.65 meters tall, has a dark complexion and a thin build, and they also indicated that he has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Once he was treated, Facundo, the woman’s eldest son, told Telenoche Córdoba what the attack was like. “He went with a gun to take our lives,” the young man recalled from the Villa Dolores hospital.
“Thank God that didn’t happen, we have a brother undergoing surgery and we ask for prayers for him, so that everything goes well,” he said about his relative’s condition. In addition, he ruled out that the aggressor was his father by saying: “He is my mother’s ex.”
Regarding the moment of the attack, the young man said that, when the man attacked his mother, he tried to save his brothers. “I did my best, but thank God no one was seriously hurt,” he said.
Facundo added that the man had a restraining order. In this context, he stated that he hopes that the authorities can find the whereabouts of this man so that “justice is done” for what happened and that “they put him in prison.”
Just a week ago, another femicide attempt shook Córdoba, when a 24-year-old girl was shot in the head. The woman was admitted to the Florencio Díaz Hospital, but later she was referred to the Córdoba Hospital. She had a superficial gunshot wound with an entry hole and an exit hole, but bone and brain injury were ruled out.
The man fled, but on Wednesday he turned himself in to justice and is now detained in Bouwer prison. He was charged with attempted double homicide. The woman, on the other hand, has a police lock in the house and has an anti-panic button.
