‘Harry Potter’ actor Michael Gambon (82) has died

Sir Michael Gambon, the actor best known to the general public as Professor Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films, has died. The Irish-British actor is 82 years old.

Died in hospital

His wife, Lady Gambon, and son Fergus just announced the sad news through their publicist Clair Dobbs. The family says that the actor suffered from severe pneumonia and eventually succumbed to it in the hospital. They now ask for privacy during this sad time.
