The windows of Giel Beelen’s rental car were smashed on Monday evening while he was at the premiere of the documentary by the band Kane. Two laptops containing the “entire music file of Radio4All” were stolen.
The radio DJ is the creative director of the new radio station Radio4all.
“Yes, it is stupid to leave 2 laptops in a bag. But man, it is a paid parking garage,” writes 46-year-old Beelen on Instagram.
“The entire music file of Radio4All is gone,” the radio DJ continues. “The file was too large for a cloud. Enjoy, thieves. We will be on the air soon.”
Radio4All was launched on September 1, but for now listeners only hear noise. Beelen had previously announced that radio will only be made on the channel from November 1. It then starts as “a kind of radio laboratory, for everyone who can and wants to make radio”.
From January 1, Beelen really wants to start with the channel, which is owned by Joost Zuurbier.
