For Visma, which is constantly acquiring sector peers, this is the seventh Belgian takeover in three years. De Tijd wrote this on Tuesday.
Silverfin was founded ten years ago and develops cloud software that helps automate the work of accountants. It is one of the fastest growing financial technology companies in Belgium. It has more than 175 employees and provides services to 320,000 end customers in 15 countries.
Visma and Silverfin already had the same shareholder with the British investment group HG. Last year, Visma took another big step by acquiring the Ghent business software specialist Teamleader. Visma also continues to strengthen its footprint in the rest of Europe. The software company therefore grew into a group with a turnover of more than 2 billion euros.
