Russian airlines face maintenance problems resulting from Western sanctions.

Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries.. There were 167 people traveling inside the plane, including passengers and crew.
All of them were transferred to the nearest town, Kamenka. Russian airlines are currently facing maintenance problems of their devices as a consequence of Western sanctions derived from the war in Ukraine.
The Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for violation of air traffic safety rules, also reporting that the plane had to make an emergency landing “for a technical reason.” The landing site had been “selected from the air.”
