LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo finished goalless

LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo did not go beyond a draw and ended up tied without goals in their match for week 27 of United States – MLS 2023.

The best player of the match was Jonathan Bond. The LA Galaxy goalkeeper excelled by saving 5 shots.

Micael was also key. The Houston Dynamo defender had a good level for clearing 3 dangerous balls.

The match was highlighted by a lot of friction and constant fouls that interrupted the game. There were several reprimands: Raheem Edwards, Daniel Steres, Luis Caicedo Mosquera, Nelson Quiñones and Artur.

LA Galaxy coach Greg Vanney proposed a 4-3-3 formation with Jonathan Bond in goal; Lucas Calegari, Maya Yoshida, Chris Mavinga and Raheem Edwards on the defensive line; Mark Delgado, Oriol Rosell and Riqui Puig in the middle; and Tyler Boyd, Dejan Joveljic and Diego Fagúndez in attack.

For its part, Benjamin Olsen’s team took the field with a 4-5-1 formation with Andrew Tarbell between the three sticks; Griffin Dorsey, Ethan Bartlow, Micael and Daniel Steres on defense; Héctor Herrera, Luis Caicedo Mosquera, Sebastian Kowalczyk, Amine Bassi and Nelson Quiñones in midfield; and Corey Baird up front.

Theodore Unkel was the referee who officiated the match at the Dignity Health Sports Park stadium.
