Young PSV and Young AZ report with victory in sub-top Kitchen Champion Division | Football

Both Jong PSV and Jong AZ booked a victory in the Kitchen Champion Division on Monday. Both reserves teams are on six points from three games.

Jong PSV defeated Helmond Sport 2-1 at home. At halftime it was 1-0 by the Israeli Tai Abed. After the break, Tim van den Heuvel made it 2-0 and Josep Amuzu did something back just before time.

In the initial phase, the match at training complex De Herdgang was briefly interrupted by referee Nick Smit. Supporters sought confrontation behind one of the goals. Peace was quickly restored.

Young AZ played in Wijdewormer against Telstar and won 3-1. After two goals from AZ player Jayden Addai, Zakaria Eddahchouri brought back the tension in extra time. Addai completed his hat-trick from a penalty not much later. At Telstar, Jay Kruiver got red shortly after the break.

Behind Roda JC and SC Cambuur, Jong AZ and Jong PSV are the numbers three and four in the Kitchen Champion Division. With the exception of FC Eindhoven and MVV Maastricht, all clubs have played three matches.

The next round in the Kitchen Champion Division is next Friday.
