Seven people were injured in an accident involving a fairground attraction in the Belgian town of Manage. The victims were thrown from a height of 3.5 meters from the Rock’n’Roll attraction after a safety bar came loose.
According to the Belgian news site Het Laatste Nieuws, the victims have been taken to hospital. One of them is in danger.
The Rock’n’Roll attraction is “a kind of magic carpet”, the news site writes. Fairgoers sit horizontally on a kind of platform. The platform then rotates at high speed, causing the occupants to make a forward or backward movement.
