At least one person was killed and nine injured Thursday after a Russian strike on the city of Zaporizhia, in southern Ukraine, already targeted the day before, Ukrainian authorities announced.

“A fire broke out in a civilian building after the occupants hit it with a missile. At the moment, we deplore the death of a person”, indicated on Telegram the president Volodymyr Zelensky.
He posted a video showing a car on fire near the Reikartz hotel in Zaporizhia.
According to the head of the city’s military administration, Anatoly Kourtiev, the strike also injured nine people.
According to him, at least four buildings were damaged.
“The city is daily subjected to Russian bombardments,” for his part lamented Mr. Zelensky.
On Wednesday, a Russian strike had already killed two people and injured seven in Zaporijjia, a town located a few dozen kilometers from the front.
