A 15-year-old boy died tragically when a tree fell on him during a severe thunderstorm in Anderson, Southern California.
The young football player, Evan Kinley, was going to make his daily visit to his grandparents, around 5 p.m.
In the direction of the garage, a huge tree uprooted by the storm collapsed on him, according to information from Fox News.
First responders attempted to quickly remove the tree from the young man’s body. Unfortunately, Evan had already died from his injuries from the tree.
His football team at TL Hanna School paid tribute to him on social media.

“Every time a student dies, it is very difficult for the school and the family. We can’t imagine what they’re going through right now,” said Anderson District 5 police communications manager Kyle Newton.
Evan’s school said in a statement that it will provide support for students and staff to get through this tragedy.
