A fire broke out in a French holiday home for the disabled this morning. Eleven people are missing. According to the French interior minister, it is obvious that they have fallen victim to the fire.
The fire broke out in Wintzenheim, a suburb of Colmar, in Alsace. According to French media, adults with mild intellectual disabilities were staying in the house. They came from Nancy and were there on vacation.
According to the deputy mayor, the fire broke out on the ground floor of the house. Seventeen people have been evacuated. One of them would have gone into shock.
