Ricardo Quintela: “It is easy to govern a rich city like the Federal Capital”
Ricardo Quintela, Governor of La Rioja
Ricardo Quintela, governor of La Rioja, pointed this Tuesday to the Buenos Aires Head of Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, who is also running for president of the Nation.
“It is easy to govern a rich city like the Federal Capital, the difficult thing is to govern cities like ours,” said the provincial president in communication with Futurock.
And he added: “I have nothing against Together for Change, I have a certain resentment against some proposals. Some leaders of the Capital have a very biased view and they have to expand it”.
“I would not describe them as ‘Pituquitos de Recoleta’, but there is a historical matrix in which the federales have lost and the unitarios won,” Quintela said.
Diego Santilli: “The transformations that must be made need firmness and dialogue”
The pre-candidate for governor talks about the internship between Bullrich and Larreta. In addition, he tells what his main measures would be, participates in the “Peronism or PRO” questionnaire and responds with emojis about Axel Kicillof’s management

-Let’s start with a multiple choice. When Horacio Rodríguez Larreta decided that Patricia Bulltich couldn’t take you on her ticket, you told him: A) “Horacio don’t burn meeeeee.” B) “Ha ha ha, don’t be crazy.” C) “Come on, bald, are you kidding me?” A, B or C?
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta’s team presented their foreign policy proposals
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta’s team of advisors
In the last hours, the Secretary General and International Relations of the City, Fernando Straface; the Secretary for Strategic Affairs, Martín Redrado; the former Minister of Economy Alfonso Prat Gay: the former Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie, and the coordinator of International Relations of the Alem Foundation, Elsa Llenderrozas, presented the foreign policy proposals of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.
“Kirchnerism exhausted all the reserves of trust and the international legacy of the government of Mauricio Macri. Today, the world demands food, energy and minerals and opens a new opportunity for Argentina that, however, will not last 30 years. For this reason, Horacio proposes to generate a shock of international confidence and a foreign policy that supports a development strategy to boost the growth engines in all the provinces of our country”, indicated Straface.
With the focus on opening new markets and doubling Argentine exports in six years, Redrado said: “Foreign policy must generate more dollars and more and better jobs, through a productive insertion in new value chains. We will carry out an ambitious agenda to open new markets, we will promote the entry into force of the Mercosur-European Union and Mercosur-EFTA agreements, and we will seek to recover a strategic link with Brazil, with a focus on energy integration and digital connectivity”.
For his part, Prat Gay highlighted: “Argentina must recover the international confidence of the world. The current government has maintained an incoherent and ideological foreign policy, for example, offering Russia to be the gateway to our country. We have to defend the international rule-based system.”
The measures presented are the result of the joint work of representatives of all the parties that make up the Together for Change coalition: the PRO, the UCR, the Civic Coalition, the Federal Meeting and Avanza Libertad. The team is made up of more than 50 ambassadors and diplomats, current and former officials, academics and specialists in international relations.
Criticism of Santiago Cafiero
The Argentine Foreign Minister, Santiago Cafiero, came up against the proposals of the team made up of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and spoke on his social networks.
“Campaign chamuyo: Larreta forgets that they ruled until 2019 and their foreign policy was to go ask Trump and the IMF for the spittoon,” wrote the National official.
And he added: “With that unsustainable loan they were not pragmatic nor did they defend the national interest. We will suffer the consequences for generations.”
After losing control of three provinces, how is the complex panorama facing Peronism in the interior
Together for Change seized the governments of San Luis, Chubut and San Juan from Unión por la Patria. The three September elections that are a headache for the ruling party and the elections that it expects to fight hand in hand

From now on there are eight provincial elections, in addition to the national one, which if the polls do not fail rudely, should end when the balloting takes place on November 19. Of what still remains to be resolved, the chances of Peronism obtaining victories in the interior of the country are quite low. You could lose more than you win.

Patricia Bullrich and Néstor Grindetti, campaigning in La Plata: selfies and applause for the Armed Forces
Intimacies of an afternoon of proselytizing activity of the presidential candidate of Together for Change. How was her contact with the people and the street act in which she aroused ovations in a district governed by a larretista mayor
Néstor Grindetti speaks in La Plata, in the act he shared with Patricia Bullrich and Juan Pablo Allan
The man, in his 70s, talks to Patricia Bullrich and starts crying. He confesses that all he wants is for his children and his grandchildren to live in a better country. A woman of a similar age assures him that he can’t take insecurity anymore and asks him to “do something”. A merchant affirms that it is difficult for him to keep the business open because he pays all the taxes and the salaries of his employees, but he complains that “few sales and a lot of street vendors that take us customers.” The scene was repeated, with similar stories, throughout a block in the center of La Plata that the presidential candidate of Together for Change toured. The same thing happened to Néstor Grindetti, his candidate for governor of Buenos Aires.
Given a possible low turnout, the Kicillof government ordered that transportation be free on election day
It will be both in the STEP and in the General and in an eventual second round. In addition, those Sundays the services will operate with the frequency of Saturday

Despite the photo of unity in Chubut, Larreta and Bullrich maintain their political distance towards the PASO
The head of Government and the former Minister of Security arrived and left Trelew without exchanging words. Everything that was not seen in the photo with Nacho Torres, the winner
Rodríguez Larreta and Bullrich maintain their political distance and accelerate their strategy towards the PASO
(Special envoy to Trelew, Chubut) Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and Patricia Bullrich have not spoken to each other for 10 days. The head of government was even asked when was the last time they had spoken and it was difficult for him to remember. “I don’t know, let’s see,” he thought when asked by an advisor and replied: “I think the other week, I think.” Last night they shared the stage with Ignacio “Nacho” Torres in Trelew, to celebrate the triumph of Together for Change (JxC) in Chubut and seal the last unit photo before the PASO on August 13. It was a gentlemen’s gesture to strengthen the coalition. But the political distance between the two remains intact. The Chubutan leader did everything to get them together, to come closer and loosen the tension. It was not enough. The two presidential candidates from the PRO know that they are on their way to the most important political dispute of their lives and they are not willing, perhaps, to give themselves even one tweet ahead.
