On the morning of this Saturday, July 22, a person lost his life after a strong explosion of a hydrogas pipe, which was recorded under the Periférico Ecológico bridge in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla.

The events were recorded during the early hours of this Saturday, July 22, at the corner with Forjadores Boulevard, Colonia Santiago Momoxpan, in the municipality of San Pedro Cholula.
According to Civil Protection, it was the overturning of a pipe with two 30,000-liter containers that were carrying fuel.

So far, only one person has been reported dead, although it is presumed that it was the driver of the pipe, who lost his life after the accident.

Rescue teams and state emergency services around 10 in the morning announced that circulation along the peripheral roads, in the direction of the Mex-Pue Highway towards the Straight to Cholula, is open.
Puebla Civil Protection reported that the highway is open at both points.
“Circulation is already open on the laterals of the peripheral, in the direction of the Mexico – Puebla Highway towards the Straight to Cholula; Maneuvers are being carried out to reincorporate the trailers and remove them,” the Puebla State Civil Protection account tweeted.
