Starting at 6:00 p.m. this Monday, a new march for Cecilia Strzyzowski is taking place. Unlike the previous seven, this time it was held at the Chaco Province House in the City of Buenos Aires, where the victim’s mother, Gloria Romero, arrived on Sunday night. She traveled to lead a rally at the Chaco Province House and demand justice for her daughter.
Despite the cold, early in the morning several people approached Callao Avenue at 300 with different signs that asked “Where is Cecilia?” and they asked for “perpetual life for the Sena family.” Among those present were the parents of Fernando Báez Sosa, Silvino Báez and Graciela Sosa, who came up to greet Gloria before the woman went on stage.
After singing the National Anthem, the version of “We are not afraid” by María Elena Walsh was played. Then, a video was projected while “Canción sin miedo” (Song without fear) by the composer Vivir Quintana played in the background. Already standing on stage, Cecilia’s mother cried and hugged the Mothers of Pain, who have been with her since last night. After thanking those present, Gloria joined forces and spoke: “There are no disappeared, there are murderers. And if we let them, they will continue killing.”
