In these times, the cold seasons seem to have been left behind in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA). Humidity and warm temperatures have been present for several days and, according to the National Meteorological Service (SMN), these conditions will persist for at least another week. However, the possible arrival of rains could bring some relief.
For this Tuesday, a mostly cloudy sky is forecast in the City of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires suburbs, with a possibility of between 10 and 40% of isolated rains for the night. In addition, throughout the day, the temperature could vary between a minimum of 17 degrees and a maximum of 21 degrees.
These conditions would change on Wednesday, since, according to SMN data, the probability of rain will increase from early morning until nightfall, when isolated storms are expected with winds from the southwest sector rotating to the south and then to the southeast. This day, the temperature will be between a minimum of 14 degrees and a maximum of 19 degrees.
Likewise, on Thursday a partly cloudy sky is forecast, with a possibility of between 10 and 40% of isolated storms during the early morning and morning, with winds from the southeast sector rotating to the east and a minimum temperature of 12 degrees and a maximum of 16.
Meanwhile, the meteorological situation will be different in some towns in the province of Buenos Aires, where the agency under the Ministry of Defense issued yellow alerts for storms.
According to the SMN, the alarms apply to the areas of Castelli, Chascomús, Dolores, Lezama, General Lavalle, Magdalena, Tordillo, Punta Indio and the Atlantic Coast, especially at night. The same occurs in the towns of General La Madrid, Laprida and Olavarría.
Also, the yellow alert for the intense fall of water was announced for the cities of Adolfo Gonzales Chaves, Lobería, Coronel Dorrego, Necochea, San Cayetano and Tres Arroyos, although for the morning and afternoon of this Tuesday, as in the mountainous areas of Benito Juárez and Tandil.

“The area will be affected by storms of varying intensity, some of which may be locally strong. It is expected that they will be accompanied by gusts, occasional hail, electrical activity and, fundamentally, abundant waterfalls in short periods,” they explained from the agency in the face of this type of warning.
In the mentioned localities, total precipitation values between 35 and 50 mm are expected, which could be exceeded in a timely manner.
Faced with these alarms, it is recommended not to take out the garbage; remove objects that prevent water from draining; avoid outdoor activities and take shelter near trees and utility poles that may fall. In addition, to minimize the risk of being struck by lightning, it is advisable not to stay on beaches, rivers, lagoons or pools; keep an eye out for the possible fall of hail; Stay informed by the authorities and always have an emergency backpack ready with a flashlight, radio, documents and telephone.
On the other hand, the SMN published this week its quarterly report on the forecast for the entire country, in which it explained that during the months of July, August and September of this year, the probability of rainfall will be “normal or higher than normal.” ” on the east of Buenos Aires, as well as on the north of the Litoral, the south of Cuyo and the east of Patagonia.
Regarding the temperature, the levels that will be felt during these three months throughout the Buenos Aires territory will also be “normal or higher than normal” than those of the indicated period, a situation that will also be replicated in Cuyo and La Pampa.
